Service Description
3.1. CheaperForDrug is an independent platform that compares the prices of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines in online pharmacies.
3.2. The Platform offers:
- Comparison of entire shopping list (basket) prices rather than individual medicines
- Finding the cheapest purchase options for the whole medicine list
- Price and availability information for medicines in over 100 online pharmacies
- Purchase optimisation through recommendations to split orders between pharmacies
- Search history and saved shopping lists
3.3. Important information:
- CheaperForDrug is NOT a pharmacy and does not sell medicines
- The Platform does not receive commission from pharmacies for displaying their offers
- We are an independent comparison tool
- We do not direct Users to specific pharmacies in exchange for remuneration
- All pharmacies are treated equally in the search results
3.4. The Platform allows the User to navigate to the chosen online pharmacy to complete a purchase; however the Administrator does not participate in the sale transaction and bears no responsibility for it.
Technical requirements
For the proper use of the Service the following technical requirements must be met:
- 4.1. A device with internet access at a bandwidth of at least 1 Mbps.
- 4.2. An up-to-date version of a web browser that supports HTML5, JavaScript and cookies - in particular Chrome (version 110 or newer), Firefox (version 115 or newer), Safari (version 16 or newer), Microsoft Edge (version 110 or newer).
- 4.3. Cookies and local storage enabled in the browser.
- 4.4. An active email address - to create an Account, receive transactional notifications and communicate with the Administrator.
- 4.5. For the full basket-comparison functionality - JavaScript enabled on the browser side.
4.6. The Administrator endeavours to ensure that the Service operates on all common devices (desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets) and at screen resolutions from 320 px upwards. The Administrator is not liable for unavailability or malfunction of the Service caused by the use of unsupported browsers or operating systems, or by a non-recommended technical configuration.
Registration and User Account
5.1. Use of the basic functionalities of the Service (free version) requires creating an Account through registration.
5.2. Account creation is voluntary and free of charge.
5.3. To create an Account the following are required: (a) provision of a current email address; (b) creation of a secure password; (c) acceptance of these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Optionally the User may provide first and last name.
5.4. A User may have only one Account in the Service. Creating multiple Accounts by one person is not allowed.
5.5. The User undertakes to: (a) provide truthful and current data at registration; (b) keep login credentials (email and password) confidential; (c) promptly notify the Administrator of unauthorised access to the Account; (d) not share the Account with third parties.
5.6. The Administrator reserves the right to refuse registration or suspend an Account in case of breach of the Terms, suspicion of fraud or other justified reasons (details in §17 of these Terms).
5.7. The User may delete their Account at any time through the settings panel or by contacting the Administrator at biuro@webet.pl. Account deletion will result in the permanent removal of personal data, except data legally required to be retained (details in the Privacy Policy).
Subscription Plans and Payments
6.1. Free Subscription:
- Drug search across more than 100 online pharmacies
- Creation of a health profile (shopping list)
- One free full basket price comparison (the first comparison always shows the absolute cheapest pharmacy)
- After using the first comparison: a pharmacy recommendation in the "very good price" category (a threshold algorithm selects an offer with an appropriate price difference while skipping the most expensive pharmacy — details in the Help Center)
- No lowest-price guarantee for subsequent comparisons (the guarantee applies to the Paid Subscription)
6.2. Paid Subscription - options:
a) One-time payment 9 zł (≈ 2 €) — Burst Access (48h):
- Full Premium access for a 48-hour window from the moment of purchase
- Limit of 100 basket comparisons within the 48-hour period (you can add, remove and swap products in the basket)
- One-time payment, NO automatic renewal
- A subsequent burst-package purchase resets the comparison counter to zero and opens a new 48-hour window
- After 48 hours elapse or 100 comparisons are exhausted, Premium access ends automatically
b) Annual subscription PLN 49:
- Price: PLN 49 for 12 months
- Unlimited access to the cheapest options for all shopping lists
- Search history and savings statistics
- Priority technical support
- Automatic renewal after 12 months (cancellable at any time)
6.3. Payments are processed through the secure Stripe payment system (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., based in Ireland). We accept credit cards, debit cards and other payment methods available within Stripe.
6.4. All prices are stated in Polish złoty (PLN) and include VAT.
6.5. After payment, the User receives a purchase confirmation by email and a VAT invoice (within 7 working days).
6.6. The annual subscription priced at PLN 49 renews automatically after 12 months at the then-current regular price. At least 7 days before the renewal date we will send the User an email notification with information about the renewal date and the amount to be charged. Cancellation of the automatic renewal is possible at any time in the account settings panel (section Subscription → Cancel renewal), through the Stripe customer panel or by contacting biuro@webet.pl. Cancellation does not affect access to services until the end of the paid period.
6.7. The Administrator reserves the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect active subscriptions - they apply from the next billing period.
Burst Access package — one-time model 48h / 100 comparisons
Burst Access is a one-time payment model (9 zł, ≈ 2 €) that grants the User full Premium access in a 48-hour window from the moment payment is successfully posted by Stripe, with a limit of 100 basket comparisons. This package is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
- 7.1. The 48-hour time window starts at the moment the payment is posted by the Stripe payment operator and ends automatically after that period elapses, regardless of the number of comparisons performed.
- 7.2. The 100-basket-comparison limit is counted independently of the time window — exhausting the counter before 48h have elapsed also ends the validity period of the package.
- 7.3. No automatic renewal: the Administrator does not collect further payments after the 48-hour window ends. The payment card is not retained for further charges under this package.
- 7.4. Purchasing another Burst Access package resets the comparison counter to zero and opens a new 48-hour window. The new window is not added to the remaining time of a previous package.
- 7.5. The Burst Access package covers basket (shopping list) price comparison as a whole — it does not provide per-pharmacy single-drug comparisons, in line with the service model described in §3.
7.6. Refunds under the Burst model: [Pending legal review] Possibility of refunding a partially-used 48-hour window or a package with a partially-used 100-comparison counter (pro-rata refund): decision whether the 30-day satisfaction guarantee described in §8 applies to Burst packages, to what extent, and how the interaction with art. 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act (loss of the right of withdrawal after full performance of a digital service with the Consumer's consent) affects the pro-rata refund obligation.
Refund Policy and Right of Withdrawal
8.1. 30-day money-back guarantee:
- If you are not satisfied with the service, we will refund your money without asking
- The guarantee applies for 30 days from the purchase date
- Applies to all paid options: one-time Burst Access payment (9 zł ≈ 2 €) and annual subscription (49 zł ≈ 4.50 €)
- To request a refund, contact us at: biuro@webet.pl
- Refunds are processed within 14 working days to the account/card used to make the payment
8.2. Refund rules for the Burst Access package (9 zł ≈ 2 € / 48h / 100 comparisons):
- [Pending legal review] The Burst Access package (48-hour window, limit of 100 comparisons) is in principle non-refundable after the access window has opened, subject to the 30-day satisfaction guarantee described in point 8.1.
- A pro-rata refund may be considered if the 48-hour window has not yet opened or the 100-comparison counter has not been substantially consumed — please report details to biuro@webet.pl
- Exception (outcome guarantee): a refund is due if, during the validity period of the Burst package, the service failed to provide a cheaper basket purchase option than the one the User could have found independently in an online pharmacy not included in the comparison
- Complaints should be submitted to biuro@webet.pl within 14 days of purchasing the package
8.3. Right of withdrawal for Consumers (14 days):
In accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), the Consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract (the date of payment) without giving any reason.
- Withdrawal is effected by sending an unambiguous statement to: biuro@webet.pl
- To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before the 14-day period expires
- The model withdrawal form is Annex 1 to these Terms and is available for download as a PDF at /odstapienie-od-umowy.pdf
- In the event of withdrawal we will refund all payments received without undue delay, no later than within 14 days of receiving the statement
8.4. The Consumer expressly agrees to the commencement of the service before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal will be lost upon full performance of the service.
8.5. Refunds are made using the same means of payment that the Consumer used, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed to a different method of refund that does not entail any costs for them.
Basket sharing links (Short-Links /c/<32hex>)
The Service allows the User to generate a short link in the format taniejpolek.pl/c/<32-character hexadecimal string> leading to a saved basket comparison. This link acts as an access credential (capability URL) — anyone who knows the link gains read-only access to that specific basket, with no login required.
- 9.1. The link identifier is a random 32-character hexadecimal string generated cryptographically on the Administrator's side; it does not contain any User personal data.
- 9.2. Possession of the link is the only access condition (link = credential): the Service does not verify who opens the link. The User should share it only with trusted recipients and via channels they consider secure.
- 9.3. Access via the short-link is read-only: the recipient can view the basket composition and price comparison but CANNOT modify the basket, place orders, make payments or access the User's Account.
- 9.4. The User may revoke a generated link at any time in the Account panel — from that moment, attempts to open the link return an access-denied message.
- 9.5. The Administrator may revoke the link automatically after the retention period elapses, when the Account is deleted, or in case of an abuse report.
9.6. Recipient's consent: [Pending legal review] Requirement to obtain separate consent from the short-link recipient to receive the data contained in the basket (e.g. shopping list composition), in particular if the basket contains special-category (health) data — whether the User generating the link is sufficient, or whether the recipient should be informed about the nature of the data before it is displayed.
User Obligations and Prohibitions
10.1. When using the Platform, the User undertakes to:
- Use the Service in accordance with applicable Polish and European law
- Comply with the provisions of these Terms
- Respect the rights of other Users and the Administrator
- Refrain from actions that may disrupt or damage the operation of the Platform
- Not use the Platform in a manner that infringes the interests of the Administrator or third parties
10.2. It is prohibited to:
- Copy, modify, distribute or use content of the Platform without consent
- Use automated tools for data collection (bots)
- Attempt unauthorised access to the Platform's systems or other Users' accounts

- Circumvent payment systems or security measures
- Share the account with other persons
- Create multiple accounts by one person
- Impersonate other persons or entities

10.3. In case of breach of this section, the Administrator has the right to immediately block or remove the User's Account without refund of paid amounts and to take legal action.

11.1. The Administrator makes every effort to ensure that the price and availability information presented in the Service is current and accurate. However:
- Prices in pharmacies may change without notice
- Medicine availability may change in real time
- Information is updated periodically (typically every 24 hours)
- Final prices and purchase terms are determined by the pharmacy where you make the purchase
- The Administrator is not liable for errors in prices provided by pharmacies
11.2. Always verify the final price and purchase conditions directly with the chosen pharmacy before completing your order.
11.3. The Administrator does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted access to the Service (technical breaks and maintenance are possible)
- Error-free operation of the Platform
- Availability of all medicines in all pharmacies
- That the prices shown are always the lowest available on the market (there may be pharmacies not covered by the Service)

Important information:
- CheaperForDrug does not provide medical advice
- The Platform does not replace a consultation with a doctor or pharmacist
- Before purchasing and using medicines, ALWAYS consult a medical professional

12.1. Information presented in the Service (medicine names, descriptions, indications) is derived from publicly available sources and is for informational purposes only.
12.2. The Administrator is not responsible for the consequences of using medicines purchased through pharmacies that the Platform directs to.
12.3. The Service compares only over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Prescription medicines are not included in the Service.
Limitation of Liability
13.1. The Administrator is responsible solely for providing the price comparison service within the Platform. The Administrator is not liable for:

13.2. The Platform is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
13.3. The Administrator's liability to the User for non-performance or improper performance of the services agreement is limited to the amount of the fee paid by the User for the Paid Subscription (in the case of a Free Subscription - up to PLN 100).
13.3a. The monetary cap on liability referred to in clause 11.3 does not apply to Consumers or to natural persons concluding a contract with the Administrator directly related to their business activity where, based on the content of the contract, it does not have a professional character for that person (analogous to art. 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). The Administrator is liable to such persons under the general rules of the Polish Civil Code.
13.4. The above limitations of liability do not apply to damages:
- Caused intentionally or through gross negligence
- To the person (life, health)
- Where limitation of liability is impermissible under mandatory law
13.5. In the case of Consumers, the limitations of liability apply only to the extent permitted by consumer-protection law.
Liability for conformity of the digital service with the contract
Contracts for the supply of the Paid Subscription concluded with Consumers are subject to the provisions implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2019 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services (implemented in Poland in Chapter 5b of the Consumer Rights Act, arts. 43k-43q).
14.1. The Administrator is liable for the conformity of the Paid Subscription with the contract throughout its duration.
14.2. The digital service is in conformity with the contract if, in particular, its description, kind, quantity, quality, completeness, functionality, compatibility and other characteristics specified in the contract correspond to the contract, and it is fit for the particular purpose for which the Consumer needs it.
14.3. In the event of non-conformity of the digital service with the contract, the Consumer may demand bringing it into conformity with the contract.
14.4. The Administrator may refuse to bring the digital service into conformity with the contract if this is impossible or would entail disproportionate costs.
14.5. Where the digital service is not in conformity with the contract, the Consumer may make a declaration to reduce the price or to terminate the contract, in particular where: (a) bringing it into conformity is impossible or would entail disproportionate costs; (b) the Administrator has not brought the service into conformity within a reasonable time; (c) the non-conformity persists despite attempts; (d) the non-conformity is so significant that it justifies termination without prior demand to bring it into conformity.
14.6. The Consumer may not terminate the contract if the non-conformity is minor. The non-conformity is presumed to be significant.
14.7. Any reduced price must remain in the same proportion to the contract price as the value of the non-conforming digital service to the value of the conforming digital service. The refund due to the Consumer as a result of exercising the right to price reduction is made no later than within 14 days of receipt of the Consumer's price-reduction declaration.
14.8. The Administrator is required to inform the Consumer of updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the digital service with the contract during the supply period, and to provide such updates.
14.9. Complaints related to non-conformity of the digital service with the contract are processed according to the procedure set out in §15 of these Terms.
Intellectual Property
15.1. All content available on the Platform, including texts, graphics, logos, icons, photos, the user interface, source code, databases and data compilations, is the property of WEBET Sp. z o.o. or its licensors and is protected by Polish and international copyright law and industrial property law.
15.2. Trademarks, including the name "CheaperForDrug" and the Service's logo, are registered trademarks of the Administrator and are subject to legal protection.
15.3. It is not allowed to copy, reproduce, modify, publish, transmit, sell, distribute, decompile or otherwise use materials from the Platform without the prior written consent of the Administrator.

- By displaying a notice in the Service
- With at least 14 days' notice before the changes take effect
16.4. [Pending legal review] After delivery of the amended Terms, the Administrator increments the internal version identifier (policy_version). A User holding an active Account will, at the next login, receive a modal notice in the Service requesting active acceptance of the new version. Failure to accept within 14 days of the first display of the notice triggers the consequences described in point 16.5 (the policy_version re-consent mechanism replaces tacit acceptance).
16.5. Failure to accept the new version of the Terms within 14 days of being informed of the change results in termination of the agreement for the provision of electronic services. In such a case the User's Account will be blocked and data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
16.6. Users with an active Paid Subscription who do not accept changes to the Terms are entitled to a proportional refund of the fee for the unused subscription period.
